Grading and stuff- Mini Syllabus.

1.   Earlier assignments make up 30% of your grade.  You can submit missing work to raise your midterm percentage.

2.  New assignments make up 70% of your grade.  To be considered completed, a new assignment must earn a "star."  This means you've earned an A.

3.  We will use a portfolio with a final project and a rubric to determine grades.  The portfolio consists of all work completed in both sections of class.

4.  If a student proves that they have A work in the newest section of class and they have no missing assignments, her letter grade could exceed the percentage total she earns.

5.  Grades will be determined at a final meeting where the student and instructor review all work.
